At the Bell at Hardwick, we source our meat from local businesses and businessmen. These include King’s Farm Butchers in Wendover our vegetables from the greengrocer who lives in Hardwick village. Our bread comes from an artisan bakery in Tring and our cheese comes from No. 2 Pound Street in Wendover. We also use Buckinghamshire specialists Jim & Jules chutneys on our sharing platters.
We try to source as many local products from Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas as possible and one product we pride ourselves on is the locally produced beers and ales from the Chilterns. Our speciality wines are supplied by our very own General Manager’s wine import business Jackson & Seddon – these are Organic, artisan Italian wines from small producers and The Bell is the only pub in Buckinghamshire lucky enough to stock them.
