Here at the Bell at Hardwick, a pub establishing itself as an accomplished gastropub and restaurant to the north of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, we are striving to offer exciting menus for light bites and a la carte…for everyone.  We want to enable all members of a family/party to have an enjoyable dining experience.  We are extending our menus slightly to offer a choice of pub classics, mediterranean themed gastropub dishes with choices for those with organic, vegetarian and vegan preferences.  90% of our menu is gluten and dairy free by design.  All of our food is prepared in-house, from scratch and freshly cooked.  These regular menus are supplemented by specials which change daily.

We have a nutritious yet familiar offering for children – our chicken goujons are homemade with breadcrumbs they won’t even realise are gluten free!

As it is for every other day of the week, our menu for our Sunday lunch is freshly cooked.  Our team of chefs alter the dishes which accompany the Sunday roast every week according to what is seasonal and how they have used their culinary flair that morning.  Served from 12 noon until 4pm it is advisable to book  on our web form or by ringing 01296 640005 if you want to eat at a certain time as our Sunday lunch is very popular.

All of our rustic bread is from Zanni’s bakery in Great Missenden. It is suitable for the gluten intolerant but not for coeliacs. It contains no yeast, only Organic Heritage grain and a sourdough starter. We make our own gluten free bread and this is always available on request.

At the Bell, it is important to us to provide nutritious, home cooked food for children as well as adults. The children’s menu is suitable for children up until the age of ten years old. All of our children’s food is prepared on site with our gluten free bread crumbs, gluten free pasta. There is even a vegetarian option for them.
