The Bell at Hardwick is a welcoming, picturesque village freehouse and kitchen serving Gastro food, prepared in-house and freshly cooked to order.

Relaunched in December 2018, The Bell is a hub for the community offering a family friendly atmosphere, free guest superfast wifi and welcoming dogs and muddy boots in the bar.

Our menus change seasonally and are complimented by daily specials prepared by our talented young team of local chefs
We can tailor our children’s menu to cater for allergies.

Our distinctive and historical building, also offers a great function space perfect for private events.

Located just outside Aylesbury in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside our 17th Century pub is the perfect place to feel the warmth of Spring and Summer in our generous and peaceful planted walled gardens and outdoor patio or in front of a roaring log fire in Winter.

We are within three miles of Whitchurch, Watermead, Buckingham Park, Berryfields, Mayberry Place and Bierton and offer the tranquillity of a country pub.

From Aylesbury, take the A413 towards Buckingham. Take the 2nd right into Hardwick. The Bell is on the left. From Whitchurch, continue along the A413 towards Aylesbury taking the 1st left into Hardwick.

There is a regular bus service between Aylesbury and Buckingham the 60 and X60. You can see the bus timetable here Arriva Bus Service – Aylesbury to Buckingham If you take the bus out, we can call you a taxi to take you back!
